The National Service of Industrial Apprenticeship (SENAI), also known as National Service of Industrial Training, was founded in 1942 with the mission to train qualified labor for the National industries. SENAI is part of the Brazilian National Industry Confederation (CNI) and SENAI in Paraná is part of the Industries Federation of the State of Paraná (FIEP). For over 73 years, SENAI in Paraná has been providing professional and technological education, as well as meets the industries needs with technical/technological services, consultancies, industrial laboratory analysis and technological support. In practical terms this means having a network of education and technology with over 50 units of service throughout the State. Senai in Paraná has the mission to promote professional and technological education, innovation and industrial technology transfer, contributing to increase the competitiveness of the Brazilian Industry. Senai in Paraná has adopted five sustainability pillars, encouraging our students and staff to have a performance that should be environmentally friendly, socially fair, economically feasible, equitably diverse and with labor safety.

The Industry Social Service from the state of Parana (SESI-PR) was created in 1946 with the commitment to provide health and education to the industry workers and their dependents. SESI offers early education, elementary school, high school and e-learning classes in more than 50 unities in the state. At the high school, there are over 13 thousand enrolled students, therefore we become the biggest private network of schools. At the health and workers' security areas, we offer services of diagnoses and health promotion to the industry's worker. The Cuide-se + (in a free translation, take more care of yourself) program, which is about preventing the cancer and the use of alcohol and other drugs, promoting the healthy eating and the mental healthiness. SESI also promotes actions and projects about human and social development. This acting happens with the participation in global initiatives, like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG); keeping the SDG Portal; executing personalized consulting to the industries, being one of the companies that are part of the Brazilian Council of the Global Compact and promoting initiatives related to the Principles for the Responsible Management Education (PRME). By that, we ally the industry commitment with the sustainable development with the enforcement of the institutions and the citizen empowerment.
